Mahasiswa Program Studi Bahasa Jepang Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Farikhatul Jannah menjadi salah satu dari lima pemenang dalam Japanese Experience Contest yang diadakan Kyoritsu bekerja sama dengan Coach Orginzer, Sabtu (27/9) lalu, di Jakarta.

Farikhatul Jannah yang akrab disapa Ika berhak menerima hadiah berupa kunjungan ke Jepang selama tujuh hari dengan biaya penuh dari penyelenggara, yaitu PT Kyoritsu, Coach Organizer, Kedutaan Besar Jepang di Indonesia, dan Maskapai Penerbangan ANA. Direncanakan, ia dan 3mpat orang lainnya akan berangkat ke negeri sakura itu pada Januari 2015 mendatang.

Lomba ini diikuti oleh 100 peserta dari seluruh Indonesia yang kemudian melalui seleksi pemberkasan terpilihlah 58 orang peserta untuk mengikuti babak final di Jakarta. Kemudian, 58 orang itu diseleksi lagi dengan kuis mengenai Jepang, ekonomi, bisnis, budaya, politik, dan sebagainya yang terkait dengan Jepang.

Dari 58 orang peserta dipilih 15 orang terbaik untuk final pidato bahasa Jepang. Setiap peserta diberikan 3 tema oleh panitia dan harus memilih salah satunya. Lalu peserta diberikan waktu 5 menit untuk mempersiapkan memo dan menjabarkan tema yang dipilihkan oleh panitia di depan panggung. Setelah pidato tersebut maka dipilihlah lima orang pemenang utama yang akan berangkat ke Jepang.

Dalam lomba kali ini, Ika mengambil tema watashi ga nihonjin ni shoukai shitai indonesia no yuumeijin atau memperkenalkan orang terkenal di Indonesia kepada orang Jepang. Dalam pidato singkat tersebut, Farikhatul mengambil subjek BJ Habibie.

Pencapaian Ika patut dicatat secara khusus. Sebab, di antara 5 orang pemenang tersebut, 3 orang di antaranya merupakan peserta yang berprofesi dalam bidang bahasa Jepang dan bahkan pernah pergi ke Jepang.

Selain kabar gembira itu, Program Studi Bahasa Jepang juga menyampaikan kabar lain. Pada Selasa (28/10) nanti dosen PBJ Unnes Silvia Nurhayati, M. Pd. dan mahasiswa angkatan 2011 bernama Metha Gesti terpilih sebagai perwakilan Indonesia untuk mengikuti pelatihan metode pembelajaran bahasa Jepang (Japanese teacher capacity building) yang sepenuhnya dibiayai oleh The Japan Foundation.

Pelatihan ini diperuntukkan bagi dosen dan mahasiswa LPTK sebagai calon guru. Mereka akan mengikuti pelatihan ini selama 1,5 bulan di Osaka Jepang.  Semoga berita ini bisa memotivasi mahasiswa lainnya.

    Lomba ini untuk pertama kalinya diadakan di Indonesia.
    Tahun depan pasti ada. Buat mahasiswa lainnya siapkan dari sekarang..

    Lomba2x semacam ini seharusnya juga ada untuk prodi/jurusan kebahasaan ataupun jurusan umum lainnya, namun mungkin sosialisasinya tidak sampai. Karena biasanya publikasinya menggunakan online publication.
    Untuk PBJ sendiri jika ada kompetisi/lomba biasanya kita share di grup.

    Contohnya lomba ini, bisa di ikuti semua kalangan, tidak ada batas usia dan status. memang lagi2x berhubungan dengan Jepang, namun saya yakin seharusnya lomba umum juga pasti banyak tersedia. (mohon maaf numpang link informais ya admin :))
