Dua mahasiswa Jurusan Sosiologi dan Antropologi Fakultas Ilmu Sosial Univrsitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) meraih beasiswa Eagle Award Documentary Competition 2015 dari Metro TV.

Mereka yakni Diana Noviana dan Visian Pramudika mampu menyisihkan peserta lain dari seluruh Indonesia. Sehingga mereka meraih posisi lima besar finalis melalui karyanya yang berjudul Tinta Perajut Bangsa.

Dengan capaian itu mereka berhak mendapatkan beasiswa pembuatan film dokumenter dan bekerja bersama dengan filmmaker profesional Indonesia.

Program yang telah diadakan sejak tahun 2005 itu menyaring dan mewadahi bakat-bakat muda yang kritis dan peduli terhadap kondisi ke-Indonesia-an serta isu-isu penting didalamnya yang terwujud melalui film dokumenter.

Karya film yang dihasilkan nantinya akan diikutsertakan dalam berbagai kompetisi dan festival film dokumenter, baik bersifat nasional maupun internasional.

Penentuan finalis ini dilakukan dalam Pitching Forum yang ditayangkan pada Sabtu, 15 Agustus pukul 21.00 WIB di Metro TV. Dewan juri yang terlibat dalam forum ini merupakan nama-nama besar dalam dunia akademik dan perfilman Indonesia, yakni Imam B. Prasodjo (Sosiolog), Riri Riza (Sutradara Film), Yenni Wahid (Direktur Wahid Institute), Leila S. Chudori (kritikus film), dan Seno Gumira Ajidarma (wartawan).

Peraihan prestasi ini, diharapkan menjadi inspirasi bagi mahasiswa lain sehingga bersemangat meraih prestasi membawa nama harum universitas konservai.
