Magister dan doktor baru lulusan Program Pascasarjana (PPs) Unnes diibaratkan oleh Direktur PPs Unnes Prof Samsudi, seperti botol cola.

Saat didistribusikan, botol cola ada yang dijual di warung pinggir jalan, ada yang di supermarket, sampai ada juga yang dijual di hotel berbintang  5. Harganya pun berbeda. Di warung pinggir jalan dibeli oleh tukang ojek dengan harga Rp3.000, di supermarket dibeli oleh ibu rumah tangga dengan harga Rp5.000, sedangkan di hotel berbintang  5 dibeli oleh seorang artis cantik dengan harga Rp25.000.

Botol sama, isinya sama, warnanya sama dibeli oleh kelas dan di lingkungan yang berbeda, harganya pun berbeda pula. Untuk itulah Prof. Samsudi berpesan pada Wisudawan  S2 dan S3 Unnes Periode 1 tahun 2012 agar pandai mencari lingkungan yang mendukung karya dan profesi, serta janganlan menjadi “botol cola” yang murah.

“Cobalah telusuri tempat yang berbintang 5, cari lingkungan yang baik, lingkungan yang mendukung karya dan profesi Anda. Doktor sudah banyak, magister juga banyak, maka carilah lingkungan yang memberi penghargaan lebih pada Anda. Jangan jadi pecundang di lingkungan yang salah. Janganlah jadi botol cola yang murah,” tukas Prof Samsudi saat membuka Upacara Pelepasan Wisuda Program Pascasarjana Unnes Periode 1 Tahun 2012, Selasa (24/4) di Hotel Patrajasa Semarang.

Prof Samsudi juga menyampaikan, lulusan tahun ini lebih baik dari tahun kemarin. “Kami selalu berupaya untuk terus meningkatkan kualitas dan menata ke arah yang lebih baik,” katanya.

Lulusan Terbaik

Program Pascasarjana Unnes pada periode 1 tahun ini meluluskan 137 mahasiswa, yang terdiri atas 12  lulusan S3 (Doktor) dan 125 lulusan S2 (Magister). Untuk lulusan terbaik S3 diraih oleh Sulaiman dengan Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) 3,96 dari Program Studi Pendidikan Olahraga, masa studi 3 tahun 4 bulan. Lulusan terbaik II di raih oleh A Sri Haryati dengan IPK 3,88 dari Program Studi Manajemen Kependidikan, masa studi  3 tahun 4 bulan.

Sedangkan lulusan terbaik S2 diraih oleh Shanty Gunawan dengan IPK 3,91 dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, masa studi 2 tahun 6 bulan. Terbaik II diraih oleh M Iqbal Birsyada dengan IPK 3, 87, masa studi 1 tahun 7 bulan.

    kalau botol cola memang isinya sama (tidak bisa dibantah), tapi apakah kita yakin magister dan doktor yang dimaksud itu “isinya” juga sama ???

    Kadang perumpaan juga akan mengena kalau sudah mengalaminya. Saya sangat setuju dengan pendapat Prof. Dr. Samsudi, saya alumni S1 Unnes, melanjutkan studi di luar Unnes dan saya sangat bangga dengan almamater saya ini. Selalu memberikan inovasi baru dan memang betul… kita akan berbeda dari yang lain kalau bekerja di tempat yang sangat berkualitas. Ayo tunjukkan kiprahmu wahai alumni Unnes…

Ada kalanya sesorang yang tinggi isinya memilih lingkungan yg rendah bahkan di hargai lebih dibawah murah lg itu karena memang orang tersebut ingin membangun lingkungan yang ditempatinya, ada kalanya juga seorang memilih di lingkungan yang tinggi dan terhormat itu tidak didasari dari hati melainkan gengsi dan iri hati. Semua itu tidak bisa di pukul rata, setiap individu punya jalan yg berbeda dan punya alasan untuk membangun dirinya dan orang-orang disekitarya.

    ada perguruan tinggi di jateng yang bekerjasama dengan pemda dan konon menjamin 3 semester lulus. Unnes jangan sekali2 begitu. jangan dijual murah. pendidikan yang diambil dan dibawa pulang ke pemda punya nilai politis dan memaksa. bravo unnes. tetap yang terbaik dan wajar

    hidup tak semudah kata2 pak rektor. dan botol cola itu meski di tempat murah, bisa menunjukan dengan harga tinggi.. lho bingung kan??

    lapangan pkrjaan smakin sempit, kl para S2&S3 dg keilmuanY bs membuka byk lap pkrjaan baru..
