Setelah beberapa waktu lalu mahasiswa Pasca Sarjana (PPs) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) berhasil maju ke final lomba guru inovatif (unnes.ac.id,2/11), kembali dua mahasiswa S2 Kepengawasan Ruswanto dan Asep Indrayana berhasil lolos dalam Lomba Penulisan Best Practice Guru dalam Pembelajaran tingkat nasional yang diselenggarakan oleh P2TK Kemdikbud. Mereka akan mempresentasikan karya Best Practice, Selasa-Kamis (19-21/11) di Hotel Grand Prioritas Puncak Bogor Jawa Barat.

Ruswanto mempresentasikan, pengalaman terbaiknya dengan tajuk “Menggagas Paradigma Baru Siswa Gandrung Biologi”. Sedangkan Asep Indrayana membawakan makalah bertajuk “Tango (Teman Ngobrol) Counceling”.

Ruswanto mengatakan, karya tersebut bertujuan untuk mempermudah siswa dalam menghafal nama-nama animalia dalam latin pada pembelajaran Biologi.

“Selama ini pembelajaran Biologi di kelas cenderung monoton terutama dengan metode ceramah,” ungkapnya.

Dia juga mengemukakan dengan metode yang saya terapkan, siswa akan lebih aktif belajar, dan pembelajaran pun akan lebih menyenangkan. “Muaranya siswa akan gandrung (cinta mati) dengan pelajaran Biologi,” tegas guru Biologi SMA Negeri 1 Purbalingga itu.

Lain halnya dengan Asep, yang juga guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK) SMK Negeri 5 Surakarta, ia berusaha mengubah kesan guru BK yang selama ini dianggap sebagai polisi, jaksa sekaligus hakim oleh siswa.

“Konsep dasarnya saya ingin menjadikan guru BK dijadikan sebagai teman ngobrol yang menyenangkan bagi siswa, sehingga proses konseling selanjutnya dapat berjalan dengan lancar,” terang Asep.

Sementara itu, menurut Ketua Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Prof Dr Maman Rachman MSc mengatakan, prestasi yang kembali diraih mahasiswanya patut diacungi jempol. “Dedikasi mahasiswa S2 Kepengawasan untuk berprestasi cukup tinggi,” tambahnya.

“Saya berharap kiprah mereka yang berprestasi dapat menebarkan virus positif, akan ditiru oleh rekan-rekan mahasiswa lainnya,” harap Prof Maman.
