Himpunan Mahasiswa Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni (FBS) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) mengadakan Bedah Novel Rindu dan Seminar Nasional Menulis Kreatif bersama Tere Liye dan Gunawan Budi Susanto, Minggu, 31 Mei 2015 di gedung B6 FBS Unnes.

Tere Liye merupakan penulis novel yang produktif. Hafalan Shalat Delisa dan Bidadari Bidadari Surga merupakan novel karya Tere Liye yang telah divisualisasikan dalam layar lebar. Moga Bunda Disayang Allah, Rembulan Tenggelam di Wajahmu, Daun yang Jatuh Tak Pernah Membenci Angin, Ayahku (Bukan) Pembohong, Sunset Bersama Rosi, Negeri Para Bedebah, Negeri Di Ujung Tanduk, Bumi, Bulan dan Rindu merupakan sederet judul novel yang telah dihasilkan oleh Tere Liye. Novel Rindu yang best seller dan hanya dalam empat bulan novel ini dicetak sebanyak sepuluh kali menjadi alasan dipilihnya sebagai materi bedah buku.

Gunawan Budi Susanto sebagai pembedah novel Rindu karya tere liye mengungkapkan, pesan moral dalam novel Rindu tercermin dalam ungkapan “ Hidup ini sesungguhnya adalah antrean panjang menunggu kematian.”

Lebih lanjut dalam kaitan menulis kreatif, Gunawan Budi Susanto yang akrap dipanggil kang putu menuturkan, pada proses awal, membaca buku dan observasi segala hal yang tergelar di alam semesta merupakan kebutuhan mutlak penulis. “Bagaimana mungkin Anda bisa menggambarkan selembar daun jatuh secara presisi jika tak pernah mengamati secara seksama selembar daun kering copot dari ranting, lalu melayang, dan luruh ke tanah,” pungkas Kang Putu.

Menurut Tere Liye membaca, melakukan pengamatan, observasi merupakan kebutuhan yang tak terelakkan dalam menunjang kepenulisan. “Membuat karya sastra bukan berdasar khayalan semata, tetapi mengangkat realitas kedalam dunia imaji,” tutur Tere Liye
