Fakultas Hukum (FH) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menyelenggarakan Seminar Nasional dengan tema Posisi dan Tantangan Kejaksaan dalam Sistem Peradilan Indonesia, Selasa (26/4), di Aula gedung K 3. Pembicara dalam seminar ini adalah Plt Kepala Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kajati) Jawa Tengah Sulijati SH MH.

Dalam sambutan dan sekaligus membuka seminar ini Prof DR Fathur Rokhman MHum menyatakan, Unnes dan Kejaksaan Tinggi (Kejati) Jawa Tengah mempunyai kerjasama yang sudah lama, Unnes sering membantu tenaga teknis ke Kejati demikian juga Kejati sering memberikan bantuan hukum ke Unnes.

“Untuk kepentingan akademik, Kepala Kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Tengah akan memberi motivasi kepada mahasiswa FH untuk mengembangkan lebih mendalam tentang kajian-kajian hukum dan Sistem Peradilan”, katanya.

Menurut Sulijati, kejaksaan merupakan lembaga representasi pemerintah dalam menuntut seseorang yang melakukan tindakan melawan hukum. Lembaga ini akan menindak lanjuti Berita Acara Pidana (BAP) dari kepolisian dan akan membawa yang berperkara ke meja hijau atau ke lembaga pengadilan untuk mendapatkan keputusan yang adil bagi kedua belah pihak yang berperkara.

“Selain Pidana, Perdata dan Tata Usaha Negara juga mempunyai tugas memelihara ketertiban masyarakat yang ditunjuk sebagai koordinator Badan Koordinasi Pengawasan Aliran dan Kepercayaan (Bakorpakem). Tugas Bakorpakem adalah mempunyai wewenang bagi Kejaksaan dalam bidang ketertiban dan ketenteraman umum, antara lain mengawasi aliran kepercayaan,” ungkapnya.

Panitia pelaksana Dr Ali Masyhar SH MH mengungkapkan, seminar ini diharap mampu memberi pecerahan tentang sistem peradilan dan pemeliharaan ketertiban masyarakat. “Universitas sebaiknya bersinergi dan berpartisipasi terkait dengan pemeliharaan masyarakat” pungkasnya.

  2. Saat ini kerjasama antara perguruan tinggi dengan lembaga-lembaga pemerintah tidak bisa kita abaikan terutama dalam pengembangan universitas yang berkualitas. Seperti halnya yang dilakukan Unnes dan Kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Tengah. Seminar seperti ini bisa dijadikan forum diskusi yang memberikan manfaat bagi kedua belah pihak.
    Bagi Kajati bisa dijadikan upaya mendapatkan kajian akademik dari kalangan perguruan tinggi mengenai tema yang bersangkutan. Bagi Unnes, terutama mahasiswa fakultas hukum bisa dijadikan sebagai tambahan wawasan serta mengenal lebih dekat dengan salah satu lembaga penegak hukum dalam hal ini kejaksaan, tepatnya Kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Tengah.

    Sistem peradilan di Indonesia perlu ditingkatkan dan harus berlaku secara adil tanpa memandang jabatan. Jangan karena orang lemah dan tidak punya jabatan diberikan hukuman yang berat sedangkan orang yang punya jabatan dan mencuri uang rakyat milyaran rupiah mendapat fasilitas seperti bintang 5.

  4. Kerja sama seperti inilah yang harus terus ditingkatkan. Agar peran Unnes dalam menjalankan Tri Dharma PT semakin dirasakan oleh masyarakat luas. Sukses terus untuk Unnes sebgai rumah ilmu 🙂
