Mahasiswa Pascasarjana Program Studi Pendidikan Seni S2 angkatan 2014 Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) menggelar kegiatan bertajuk “Pameran Data dan Pementasan Seni; Indonesian Art-chipelago 2015” sebagai ruang untuk memperkenalkan budaya Nusantara kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan “Indonesian Art-chipelago 2015” secara keseluruhan akan menampilkan pameran data seni rupa, tari, dan musik dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia dan pementasan seni. Kegiatan berlangsung di gedung B6 Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Unnes selama dua hari, Selasa dan Rabu (27-28/10).

Direktur Pascasarjana Unnes Prof Dr H Achmad Slamet MSi dalam sambutannya mengingat peran penting keragaman seni budaya Nusantara sebagai warisan bangsa dari satu generasi ke generasi lainnya. Keragaman seni budaya Nusantara telah menjadi identitas yang membentuk karakter sebagai satu bangsa yang harus dijaga dan diwariskan secara cerdas dan kreatif. Karena itulah, karya seni yang baik selalu menjadi tonggak-tonggak kebudayaan dan lentera nilai yang menerangi sejarah dari satu generasi ke generasi berikutnya.

“Keberagaman Indonesia yang paling nyata adalah budaya. Kumpulan dari berbagai nilai-nilai budaya daerah mencerminkan Indonesia seutuhnya. Keunikan dari setiap kebudayaan tersebut patut untuk diperkenalkan dan diapresiasi,” ungkap Prof Achmad Slamet.

Dr Sri Iswidayati MHum selaku dosen pembimbing kegiatan mengungkapkan, kebudayaan di setiap gugusan pulau-pulau di Indonesia akan dituangkan dalam kegiatan ini dalam bentuk pameran data dan pementasan sehingga dapat terciptanya ruang apresiasi, komunikasi estetik, edukasi dan pewarisan nilai-nilai budaya bangsa bagi masyarakat
