Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (PIPS) FIS Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) Febri Susanti sukses kenalkan budaya batik nusantara di Jepang, Minggu (21/1).

Dalam program yang diselenggarakan oleh Youth For Future dan Rumah Kepemimpinan bekerjasama dengan Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) ini, Febri menjadi salah satu delegasi terpilih dari puluhan delegasi lainnya setelah mengikuti berbagai proses dan mekanisme penyeleksian.

Bagi Febri, proses penyeleksian hingga dinyatakan sebagai salah satu delegasi memberikan kesan tersendiri. Dimulai dari seleksi berkas dan administrasi, kemudian esai tentang batik nusantara. Dalam kesempatan itu, Febri mengenalkan salah satu warisan dunia, khususnya batik khas Banyumas.

“Kegiatan dilaksanakan sejak tanggal 21 hingga 25 Januari 2018, yakni mengenalkan batik bagi masyarakat Jepang. Saya mencoba mengenalkan batik khas Banyumas dengan ornamen dan warna yang unik dari budaya lokal setempat. Dalam skala lebih luas lagi, tujuannya kita bisa mengenalkan budaya batik sebagai warisan Tanah Air, sebagai budaya milik Indonesia di mata dunia. Terlebih lagi, batik telah dinyatakan oleh UNESCO sebagai salah satu warisan dunia,” jelas mahasiswa tingkat akhir tersebut.

FLCBF 2018 memiliki tiga program bagi delegasi terpilih. Pertama, Konferensi Batik yang merupakan konferensi batik Indonesia pertama dengan mendatangkan beberapa pakar batik ternama Indonesia.

Kedua, Riset Pasar yang memberikan tantangan kepada para delegasi untuk melakukan analisis perkembangan bisnis di Jepang dan membuat gagasan tentang langkah optimalisasi potensi pasar Indonesia agar dapat bersaing di dunia global. Ketiga, Festival Budaya Indonesia. Program ini merupakan pertunjukan budaya Indonesia oleh para delegasi terpilih kepada masyarakat Jepang.

Pencapaian ini, tambah Febri, tak lepas dari dukungan dan motivasi Bapak Ibu dosen dan teman-teman, khususnya keluarga besar PIPS UNNES.

“Saya juga berterima kasih kepada Rektor UNNES, beserta Dekan dan Wakil Dekan Fakultas Ilmu Sosial yang telah memberikan kesempatan dan dukungan finansial, sehingga saya dapat memperkenalkan budaya batik di Kyoto, Jepang,” ungkap Febri.

Pendamping Himpunan Mahasiswa (Hima) Program Studi PIPS Rudi Salam MPd mengapresiasi capaian Febri tersebut.

“Ada 442 peserta yang ikut seleksi, Febri terpilih dan menjadi bagian dari 50 delegasi Indonesia yang dinyatakan lolos seleksi. Melalui kegiatan ini, kita berharap, Febri mampu menjelaskan dan mengenalkan budaya batik Indonesia dengan baik, khususnya batik khas Banyumas. Selain itu, terpilihnya Febri merupakan bagian dari partisipasi mahasiswa dalam mewujudkan internasionalisasi UNNES dan bisa mengenalkan UNNES di taraf internasional,” jelas dosen pengampu mata kuliah Telaah Kurikulum dan Buku Teks IPS itu.
