Dosen Sosiologi dan Antrologi Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) Fadly Husain memamerkan hasil penelitiannya di Lange Nacht der Forschung 2016, Wina, Austria.

Fadly yang kini sedang menyelesaikan pendidikan doktoral di Center of Public Health, Medical University of Wien itu meneliti belian, orang yang memiliki kemampuan pengobatan tradisional berbasis bahan alam.

Prasetiyono Hari Mukti dari Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Australia mengungkapkan bahwa sebuah kehormatan bagi bangsa Indonesia karena salah satu kekayaan lokalnya dipamerkan kepada masyarakat internasional.

“Suatu kehormatan bagi bangsa Indonesia, karena salah satu warisan kearifan lokalnya mendapat kesempatan untuk dipamerkan di Lange Nacht der Forschung,” ungkap Prasetiyono, Sabtu (23/4/2016) sebagimana dikutip detik.com.

Sementara Fadly mengungkapkan bahwa karya yang dimaperkan adalah karya yang dihasilkan untuk studi doktoral. Ia mengambil studi kasus pengobatan tradisional di pulau Lombok dengan penekanan pada kemampuan pengobataan para belian, yang telah dipercaya sejak lama dan diajarkan secara turun-temurun.

Meskipun dikenal sebagai keahlian yang bersandarkan pada kearifan lokal, belian mempunyai beberapa klasifikasi berdasarkan keahlian khusus layaknya program spesialis, seperti: belian umum, belian ranak, belian polak dan belian pijak (urut).

“Dari hasil survei yang dilakukan pada 2014, diperoleh data bahwa sebanyak 20,3% warga NTB lebih memiliki pengobatan tradisional untuk menangani penyakit-penyakit yang dialami,” kata Fadly.

Untuk melestarikan dan mengembangkan pengobatan berbasis kearifan lokal ini, pemerintah Indonesia melalui Kementerian Kesehatan telah mengeluarkan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 103 Tahun 2014 tentang Pelayanan Kesehatan Tradisional.

“Kita berharap agar pengobatan berbasis kearifan lokal di Indonesia bisa menjadi health tourism seperti halnya di Cina dan India,” pungkas Fadly.

    Indonesia membutuhkan orang orang seperti Pak Fadly Husain ini, yaitu orang yang dengan kemampuan akademisnya mampu mengangkat dan memunculkan potensi kearifan lokal Indonesia menjadi sesuatu yang terukur dan dikenal masyarakat dunia.
    Health tourism Indonesia belum terlalu berkembang karena memang belum ada pengembangan lebih lanjut terhadap berbagai macam pengobatan tradisional yang ada di Indonesia. Semoga usaha Pak Fadly Husain ini bisa menjadi awal dari munculnya Health Torism Indonesia.
