Yusro Edy Nugroho dengan percaya diri membaca puisi di Gedung B6 FBS Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes). Ini bukan sembarang naskah, karena naskah yang dia baca itu berbahasa Jawa atau lazim disebut geguritan.

Dosen Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa itu pun membaca geguritan “Baladha Van De Mitz Gandrung-gandrung Kapirungu marang Si Dhenok Tulkiyem”. Guritan ini berisi kisah seorang wanita yang ikut berjuang melawan penjajah dengan caranya sendiri. “Cerita ini juga mengandung nilai- nilai konservasi lo,” kata Yusro sesaat setelah mengikuti lomba, Rabu (27/4).

Lomba seni dalam rangka Dies Natalis Ke-46 Unnes ini, menurut Ketua Panitia Bintang Hanggoro Putra, diikuti 27 peserta yang terdiri atas dosen, karyawan, dan mahasiswa Unnes dengan total hadiah Rp 6 juta dan trofi dari BNI 46 Cabang Pembantu Unnes. “Melalui lomba ini diharapkan muncul potensi seni dari dosen, karyawan, dan mahasiswa Unnes,” ujarnya.

Selain membaca geguritan, malamnya masih akan digelar lomba nyanyi tunggal dan tari tradisional untuk kategori mahasiswa, yang akan diikuti 14 finalis lomba nyanyi tunggal dan 8 kelompok lomba tari. “Tema-tema seni tidak terlepas dari konsep konservasi. Hal ini untuk mengembangkan pilar-pilar konservasi, terutama konservasi budaya,” katanya.
