Program klinik hukum sangat membantu mahasiswa memahami bagaimana hukum bekerja dalam masyarakat, mengkaji secara riil keilmuan di bidang hukum, dan mengasah kemampuan mahasiswa berinteraksi dalam memecahkan permasalahan hukum secara langsung. Karena program ini bukan sebatas simulasi.

Hal itu ditegaskan Dekan Fakultas Hukum (FH) Universitas Indonedia (UI) Prof  Dr Topo Santoso SH MH dalam kegiatan diseminasi dan workshop klinik hukum, Selasa-Rabu(15-16/8) di Gedung Serba Guna FH Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES).

Menurut Prof Topo, akan menjadi ironis jika para mahasiswa yang memiliki pemahaman hukum, ketika dipertemukan dengan konflik sosial yang berada dalam ranah hukum tidak mampu menyelesaikannya.

Sebagai salah satu usaha peningkatan mutu kualitas institusi dan membangun reputasi, Dekan FH UNNES Dr Rodiyah SPd SH MSi merespon positif kegiatan yang menunjukkan kontribusi nyata institusi bagi pembangunan Indonesia ini.

Dr Rodiah berjanji akan secara aktif melakukan usaha-usaha produktif membangun jejaring antar pengajar fakultas hukum di kalangan universitas dalam negeri maupun luar negeri. Selain itu, dalam waktu dekat FH UNNES juga akan melaunching 7 Klinik Hukum.
 
Acara yang merupakan realisasi kerjasam FH Unnes dan FH UI ini diikuti oleh dosen dan calon pengajar  mata kuliah klinik hukum di perguruan tinggi negeri dan suasta se kota Semarang.

    Semoga dengan adanya klinik hukum…mahasiswa bisa menyeimbangkan antara knowledge, skill and value sehingga bisa turut serta kelak berpartisipasi di dunia hukum dengan baik sesuai keilmuan yang telah diajarkan dan tetap memegang nilai keadilan dan kejujuran….
