Band Last Child tampil dalam Inagurasi Mahasiswa Baru Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), Rabu (5/11) di lapangan Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan kampus Sekaran Gunungpati. Ribuan penggemarnya memenuhi lapangan sejak pembukaan hingga pentas berakhir.

Band yang digawangi Virgoun, Mamie, Dhimaz dan Rizki itu tampil bersama band lokal Unnes, antara lain Midnite, The Luck, Pingkel Standing, dan Brass Unnes.

Acara inagurasi merupakan penutupan dari rangkaian penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Selain untuk mahasiswa baru, acara ini juga terbuka bagi umum.

Penampilan Last Child dibuka dengan lagu Pedih, Percayalah, Kangen, Indahnya Perbedaan. Aksi mereka dilanjutkan dengan lagu Seluruh Napas Ini, Kita Tunjukkan, Tak Pernah Ternilai, dan Diary Depresi.

Pembantu Rektor Bidang Kemahasiswaan Prof Dr Masrukhi MPd mengatakan, kehadiran Band Last Child diharapkan menghibur sekaligus memotivasi mahasiswa agar lebih semangat berkreasi.

“Musik merupakan ekspresi kreativitas. Para mahasiswa Unnes mudah-mudahan menjadi motivasi untuk lebih berkarya dan lebih kreatif lagi,” katanya.
