Sebanyak 20 dari 23 guru SMP 21 Semarang yang mengisi angket, 87 persen guru masih kesulitan dalam memahami cara penilaian kurikulum 2013. Hal ini terungkap ketika Prof Ani Rusilowati MPd Professor Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (FMIPA) Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes), turun gunung mensosialisasikan kurikulum 2013 di sekolah itu, Sabtu (14/12) di Ruang Laboratorium SMP 21 Semarang.

Prof Ani Rusilowati Professor pendidikan IPA itu, hadir dalam kegiatan professor go to schools yang telah digagas Unnes sejak November lalu. Kedatangan ia, didampingi Dr Saiful Ridlo Ketua Program studi Pendidikan Biologi FMIPA Unnes.

Sebelum sosialisasi ini, ia telah datang untuk pertama kalinya ke SMP 21,observasi dan mengungkap masalah-masalah yang dialami sekolah dan guru terkait kurikulum 2013.

Kedua kalinya, ia sosialisasi kurikulum 2013 dihadapan 40 guru, ia bicara elemen perubahan penilaian hasil belajar, penilaian kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan ketrampilan.

Menurutnya, guru harus tetap semangat dan siap dengan perubahan, mulailah segala sesuatu dengan baik dan mulai dari diri sendiri.

Berdasar angket yang dibagikan, “87 persen (20 dari 23 guru) mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami cara penilaian, 70 persen (16 dari 23 guru) kesulitan dalam pembuatan instrumen observasi, 66 persen (15 dari 23 guru) kesulitan dalam memahami model-model pembelajaran, dan 79 persen (18 dari 23 guru) mengalami kesulitan membuat instrumen penilaian. Ini artinya guru di sekolah, ini memang sangat membutuhkan pendampingan,” jelasnya.

Hasan Budi Sulistyo MPd wakil kepala sekolah, mengatakan apresiasi positif kedatangan professor ke sekolah, ini sangat bermanfaat bagi guru dalam mencairkan masalah, dan kesulitan yang dialami guru terkait dengan instrumen penilaian, model pembelajaran dan cara penilaian. Ia berharap pendampingan ini berlanjut, sehingga membantu memecahkan persoalan yang dihadapi guru dan pihak sekolah.

Sementara itu, Dr Saiful Ridlo menyampaikan sikap hidup, seperti wortel, telur ataukah kopi. Semisal wortel awalnya keras, warnanya menarik, bagus tetapi kalau dimasak dengan air akan lunak, berarti orangnya tegas, cerdas, komitmen hidupnya baik, tetapi ketika terjun membaur ke masyarakat, berubah ikut sistem menjadi lunak dan tidak mampu melakukan perubahan lebih baik. Akan tetapi kopi dicampur dengan air, maka air itu rasanya tetap kopi.

“Jadilah guru seperti kopi, jika guru mengajar di sekolah akan mampu mengubah sekolah, dunia pendidikan menjadi lebih baik, gurulah salah satu komponen sistem pendidikan di sekolah yang diharapkan mampu melakukan perubahan ke arah lebih baik,” tegasnya.

    Selamat dan sukses Bu Ani dan Pak Saiful. Begitu pentingnya penilaian sehingga menjadi motor dan pengendali pembelajaran. Itulah mengapa assessment is a part of learning, not a part from learning.

  2. Setelah ujicoba Kurikulum 2013 berjalan 1 semester, apakah ada evaluasi tentang sistem penilaian khususnya laporan hasil belajar/ rapot yang bersifat kwalitatif dan naratif dengan memperhatikan masukan dari orang tua siswa dan dampak psikologi anak ?
