Sebanyak 300 peserta program Sarjana Mendidik di Daerah Terdepan, Terluar, dan Tertinggal (SM-3T) dari Universitas Negeri Semarang (Unnes) akan mengikuti pembekalan mulai Senin, 28 November pukul 08.40 hingga 8 Desember 2011. Pembekalan akan berlangsung di Balai Diklat Provinsi Provinsi Jateng Jalan Setiabudi 201 A Srondol Kulon, Semarang.

Ketua Tim Pembekalan Ali Formen mengatakan, pembekalan merupakan tahapan penting yang harus diikuti oleh setiap calon peserta sebelum pemberangkatan ke daerah sasaran. “Dalam pembekalan ini akan dievaluasi pula kesungguhan dan ketangguhan para calon peserta sehingga dari tahapan ini akan bisa ditentukan apakah mereka layak untuk diteruskan hingga pemberangkatan atau tidak,” katanya.

Selain melibatkan para dosen senior yang sudah terbiasa dalam kegiatan Pendidikan dan Latihan Profesi Guru (PLPG), pihaknya juga menggandeng Kwartir Cabang (Kwarcab) Kota Semarang untuk materi kepramukaan dan Kodam IV Diponegoro untuk materi ketahanmalangan. “Kami juga akan menghadirkan narasumber dari Nusa Tenggara Timur dan Aceh agar peserta mendapatkan gambaran riil tentang wilayah yang akan mereka datangi,” katanya.

Ali juga mengingatkan para peserta untuk membawa perbekalan secukupnya selama sepuluh hari mengikuti kegiatan.  “Jangan lupa check in tanggal 28 November pukul 06.30 – 08.30 di Balai Diklat, mengenakan pakaian atas putih bawah hitam saat pembukaan, dan mengenakan pakaian olah raga dan  seragam pramuka ketika diperlukan sesuai dengan jadwal,” katanya.

Sebagaimana diberitakan sebelumnya, SM-3T merupakan bagian dari program Maju Bersama Mencerdaskan Indonesia. Rencananya, lewat SM-3T, 3.500 sarjana pendidikan akan dikirimkan ke berbagai daerah yang tergolong terdepan, terluar, dan tertinggal. Selain untuk mengatasi kekurangan  guru di wilayah tersebut, program ini juga diharapkan sebagai langkah nyata untuk melahirkan guru yang bermutu, tangguh, dan profesional.

“Setahun mereka mengabdi di daerah 3T, setelah itu mereka kembali lagi untuk mengikuti Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG) dengan biaya sepenuhnya dari pemerintah. Dengan lulus PPG, kelak mereka akan berpredikat sebagai guru profesional,” kata Pembantu Rektor Bidang Akademik Agus Wahyudin, secara terpisah.

Di samping Unnes, 11 universitas negeri eks IKIP lainnya juga tengah mempersiapkan hal yang sama. Rencananya, ke-3.500 sarjana pendidikan itu akan diberangkatkan antara tanggal 8 dan 13 November 2011.

    apakah yang tidk lolos ujian tulis juga bisa ikut pelatihan prakondisi? padahal saya tidak lolos ujian tulis, tapi jum’at tgl 25 kemarin di telp dr pihak panitia SM3T unnes untuk mengikuti pembekalan, hal itu benar atau tidak?

    klo ada yg ditelpon utk mengikuti prakondisi pdhl di seleksi sblumny sdh gagal, berarti ada pihak yg sdh diterima namun mengundurkan diri,.
