Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa Fakultas Bahasa dan Seni Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) bakal menyelenggarakan seminar memperingati Hari Pendidikan Nasional dengan tema “Mendidik Generasi Jawa Milenial: Tantangan bagi Pendidik di Era Teknologi Informasi”, Selasa, 2 Mei 2017 di Gedung B6 kampus Sekaran, Gunungpati, Kota Semarang.

Ketua Jurusan Bahasa dan Sastra Jawa, Widodo, mengatakan seminar terbuka untuk guru, mahasiswa, dosen, staf dinas, maupun masyarakat umum yang memiliki perhatian terhadap berbagai permasalahan pendidikan, pembelajaran, maupun kebudayaan pada umumnya. “Selain mengikuti seminar, peserta juga dapat mengirimkan makalahnya. Bagi yang terpilih, makalah akan diterbitkan dalam bentuk proceedings seminar,” kata Widodo.

Ia menjelaskan, makalah dapat berisikan hasil penelitian berbagai permasalahan pendidikan, kebudayaan, maupun bahasa, dan sastra. Makalah ditulis menggunakan bahasa Indonesia antara 7—10 halaman menggunakan huruf Times New Roman ukuran 12 dengan spasi 1,5. Ketentuan teknis lain, secara berurutan, penulisan makalah meliputi judul, nama penulis, alamat surat elektronik, abstrak, kata kunci, latar belakang, rumusan masalah, metode penelitian, pembahasan, simpulan, dan daftar pustaka. Makalah diterima panitia melalui surel [email protected] selambatnya 30 April 2017.

Pada sesi pertama, seminar akan menghadirkan dua guru besar, yaitu Teguh Supriyanto (FBS UNNES) dan Suwarna (Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta). Sedangkan pada sesi kedua, seminar bakal diisi oleh artis yang juga budayawan Sujiwo Tejo dan Bupati Kudus H. Musthofa.
